David,

>*How* do you think these problems are going to be solved in the near future? What kind of technology will solve them? Retinal scans with every keystroke? Little cameras on the computer monitor to allow a test administrator to watch you (easy to fool with a video feed), etc?

If i'd know the details, I would be doing something else than writing VFP apps. No seriously, I don't know the best way to solve the problems.

But to some ideas:
- The test is written is such way that it doesn't matter what documentation you use during the test.
- a Timelimit.
- creditcard validation
- Camera's, (to check integrity, the test could order the user to raise three fiingers, so a video feed won't do !)
- Other means of authorisation.

I'm sure there are enough clever guy's whch invent new ideas which solve the problems. Maybe less important tests can be done on the internet and the important one (which can't be done without the less important ones) can only be done in a strict controlled environment.

I know this i quite new and unknown, but I certainly expect some development on internet exams.

Walter,
