Don't be sorry at all! At least it's a starting point and I'm sure it will be helpful for Linos.

Perhaps it's time to start working on such a document from an up to date point of view (i.e. considering msde, acc 2k, vfp 6, etc.) as this issue seems to show up at least every 2 months.

I personally have been doing access for the past 4 years, and am not crazy about it. I find the language cumbersome when it comes to interacting with data.

It's great to run a quick query to extract data from your database or export it to Word in 5 minutes or less, but I don't think it compares with vfp when it comes to developing more serious stuff, if anything, because of its lack of reall oop.

As to the jet engine, it does return unreliable data sometimes. It's happened to me.
