Printing to local printer when LPT1 use for net printing

I'm sorry Evan, I can't think of a way to do what you want. The only thing I can think of doing is setting the DOS App to use LPT2, but that apparently isn't an option. You could look into an LPT expansion board, they don't cost near as much as a print server.
