>The simple answer is you can't without adding a secod printer port to the machine and attaching the printer to the second port, so that the device that's now LPT1: is not used. This is because there is no fixed mapping of the port's addresses and interrupts - the assignments are sorted out by the BIOS, and you can't shift these around. Adding a second port will permit the LPT1: port to be idle, and it could then be used for mapping purposes. ISA printer ports should cost well under $25, so it's a cheap and easy fix.
