I have a minor complaint from a couple users about this:

I have some decimal numeric, bound, editable textboxes in grid columns. I have a Z Format on, so that the zero-valued cells are empty when focus is not on them, otherwise, the value is displayed. Often, the numeric field itself is blank, because they've never been written to. All is well, blank is displayed with or without focus.

However, when the users have focus on a cell, and the numeric field has been filled with a zero one way or another, 0.00 is displayed. The users would like this to always be blank if 0, until they type in a non-zero value or a calculation fills in a non-zero value. I am not finding an easy solution - Dynamic controls are out since this is editable, I think, the fact that it's a column with multiple displays complicates things so I can't unbind, etc., and the fact that they can edit it while in the cell really complicates any solutions.

This isn't a life or death problem, but I thought I'd ask if anyone had any ideas. I don't want to do anything extremely complex, because performance is an issue here, there are a lot of calculations going on already, but maybe I'm missing something simple with Formats/Inputmasks?
