Hi, could someone please help.

I am trying to disable the DEL & INS keys so I can trap their respective keypress codes of 7 and 22 using the keypress event in a form. After trapping either of these keys and doing the procedure attached to them, I am experiencing strange behavior.

For example the DEL key deletes the text in the text box that the cursor is on at the time.

Do I need to do anything to disable the Foxpro native behavior of these keys. I have been told the following is all I need do.

on key label del *
on key label ins *

I have tried this and I am still having problems.
