To answer part of this, yes, remove the tables from the report DE, so the the DE is empty. Make sure all the report fields have NO TABLE PREFIX, only field names that the cursor has. Then it will work fine as long as the cursor is selected when the report is called. Don't know if this will solve the other problem, but at least fix this part first.
