My users are concerned about security and want us to build in levels of access into a system. I was just thinking, how can we secure the tables from someone outside our system linking to them through ODBC using something like Access? If someone has rights to the directory on the network [so they can use the system], but they should only have view rights in our system, wouldn't they still be able to access tables [and modify them] through ODBC?
Thanks,
Doug
