Point taken, but wouldn't programming be much easier if we all knew what to expect, especially from other peoples code. There's nothing worse than having to maintain someone else's code, only to find that they choose to use interestingly named variables like m.tit and m.arse !!!

On a serious note, I used to have to maintain code written by a programmer that used just such a naming convention. Granted, it made me smile, but it also infuriated the hell out of me !!!

I don't suggest that we all have to adhere to conformity, rather we should aim for commonality. Anything for an easy life..........
