Virtually all the books I read tell me how great the tools are, yet I find that the form builder etc. hides the code from view. I am much more comfortable scanning a page of code when I am trying to figure out what's going on. Can you point me to some examples of useful classes written in code only, or some class libraries that I might study. Have you ever run across a utility that will print the code from an existing class. I have looked at most of the books currently in Print on Visual Fox, and I can't seem to finf what I need.

Jack,
I'm not sure if I read you well. You can check class code (or Form code-check file types there) using Tools\Class browser (View code). There is also Tools\component gallery. There are many good class exmaples (truely not just examples but working ones - some stripped the source code) directly here on UT (Files - Classes and other sections). Also form builder, grid builder etc class codes are now (referring VFP6) available in home()+"tools\xsource" directory. If you want to create builders then one of the important functions is ASELOBJ() (readmethod, writemethod, cloneobject etc are other important ones). If you make a search on builders you'll also get many hits :)
Hope helps.
