Thanks for mentioning HotSend. I reminds me a bit of Adobe Acrobat except that it appears to create smaller files faster and it costs less (as in free).

The only interface that I've found for it is the interactive one. Have you found a way to manipulate HotSend programmatically? It sure would be nice to do so.
