>Set it to use the System settings. This will use the proxy settings you already have implemented in IE. Since that is working, that should do it.

both doesn't work but in IE and frontpage it worked.

>If it doesn't there may be a problem with your proxy server configuration. Supposedly, VI only uses HTTP protocol to connect to a web site. However, I have found porblems going through a firewall/proxy with it. FrontPage will work but VI won't. I haven't figured out why yet.

hmmm...it seems we have the same suspicion. Actually, when we are using MS proxy server, we don't have problems with internet connections but when we installed WinGate, abnormality begins. It was told, and I read it myself, that if you running WinGate, IRC servers started to K-lined every connections because of its vulnerability to be penetrated by intruders. I've done a lot of configurations to stabilize our connection.

Thanks for your time Larry!

>>I set Web proxy server as "wsn_server" - our proxy server name. Still couldn't get it run. In the server actually, the IP address I assigned is (all unassigned) with port 3823 because if i use port 80, it gives "binding not unique", but the server is using port 80. is this the causing the error??
