Thanks for the answer, but I found out I have multiple codes to translate so I built a lookup code table to do the translation so now I am stuck because I can't get my SQL SELECT to JOIN the lookup code table to the primary table with the result that I am looking for. I put out another question about that with an actual code sample in the question. This can't be this hard. Can it? I have never done a JOIN before. Maybe that's why I am having SO MUCH FUN! LOL.

My JOIN is giving me blank records in my resutlant CURSOR which means it's not working as hoped.
