In New England, you often hear the phrase "You can't get there from here", and this is one of those times. The New England phrase doesn't mean that it's impossible, just that it takes a bit more effort than saying "turn right at the third stop sign", and that's what the case here is, too. In Visual FoxPoro you can't define additional properties on the fly. There's nothing in the language that will allow it. But you can do this in C++. Fortunately, there's a .DLL that will allow you to add these properties to your FoxPro classes. Have a look for ADDPROP information on Ken Levy's site (www.classx.com). /Paul
