Thanks for the Idea about capturing the keystroke at the form. My first message had a mistype by me. I was using ON KEY LABEL CTRL-Q _screen.ActiveForm.xxxx.xxx not ON KEY LABEL THISFORM.bn_cancel.Click(). I was just typing along and didn't notice.
