What type of printer are you using, is it networked, shared ? Make sure the printer has the correct and most upto date drivers.
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the Video Card in the PC. If the report crashes at, or just before, the print preview window, then this could be your problem. The PC in question had an S3 ViRGE video card. I tried all the latest drivers etc., and in the end I simply swapped the video card for another make. End of problem.
Are you using the same dataset each time you run the report; does it have exactly the same data each time ? If so, then it's unlikely to be a problem with VFP itself, although there may be in your code. Again, I've had similar problems like this, and in the end I simply re-wrote the report.
