Along with the other suggestions be sure to check the method visibility. If its "hidden" then it is NOT visible in a subclass.

If this is true, I have a form that did not inherit a method from a parent, so where do I begin to determine why the inheritance did not come through? I have verified in the sub-classed form that the parent form is the form I added the new method to.
