Thanks for the reponse...the method is now visible and I'm not exactly sure why. I may have had the option set to show 'non default properties' which corrected itself when I restarted FoxPro this morning. However, I'm still not where I need to be. When I run the child form I received the error message "'method name.prg' does not exist" where 'method name' is the name of the method created in the parent form. I created a new form from the parent and this form works fine. I don't know where to begin to debug the error in the form I want to use. I just started using Visual Foxpro 6.

P.S. Let me know if I am posting this message incorrectly...I'm new to the Universalthread as well.

TIA
