J. Crescencio,

While John can be a little brusque with people online I think that he has asked a good question and I think he has the right to so do.

Tamar certainly has the right to not answer should she either so choose or if she's unable to as a result of some contractual issues. Nothing would keep her from stating she cannot answer, for example. She may feel that it's just an endless debate so John can satisfy some personal quest. I do not know. It's Tamar's call.

I've gotten on John a couple of times because I think he communicated in such a fashion that he mixed personal feelings with his professional opinions, whether deliberately or not. He's recently focused on the technical stuff more and I think that's a good thing. That he may be driven by a personal sense of being wronged may be true but as long as he doesn't allow that to cloud his technical examination of any given issue is acceptible, though I would counsel everyone to not allow themselves to hold grudges or hard feelins toward anyone else.

I'm not suggesting that this is John's motivation (he can certainly speak for himself, <g>) but but just a reminder to us all to keep our perspectives.

As to Tamar.. She has ALWAYS and IN EVEY CASE that I have personally dealt with her, many times with highly controversial issues and subjects, behaved herself in a proessional manner.

My "angle" here is to do everything to encourage both folks to get past any personal feelings they may have, deal with the issues, let them drop and move on by placing the good of the community before their own sense of being misunderstood, hurt, wronged or whatever.

Let's all encourage them to get this taken care of, either privately or publicy, but please, for the good of the community, get to it.

Best,

DD

>I think you should get a grip. Without knowing your sources, this seems a bit paranoid. Imagine a magazine editor being told not to express her opinion on things. Far fetched, wouldn't you say?

>Have you considered the possibility that she doesn't have a response for you?

>Reading your other response to Tamar, the impression is that they *should* pay attention to your ideas. Being a subscriber for 2 yrs I agree the magazine needs to bring it up a notch. I just don't get your approach. Instead of paying attention you're getting people pissed off.

Best,
