I have just tried the latter and had success one time, but after that it keeps bombing...keeps telling me there is an illgal file name. I sure can't see what name they mean. Very frustrating since it was working OK before. Guess I'll poke around in the Third Party threads and see if there are any others with a similar expericne.

Just send a message to John Kosiol ( you can find him in this thread or email i486dx@prodigy.net). He wrote the component and is VERY interested in making it perfect. I am presently retesting it on our systems. I finally remembered what our problem was with it several months ago. We only had Office 95 machines at the time and it requires 97 - 2000. We now have upgraded to Office 2000 so I can try it again.

Yes it is HotSend & FRX2Word.
