I have no idea why, but all of the sudden, when I try to use the Component Gallery, I get the error "OSHARED is not a function, procedure or program." This error is documented in MSDN ID: Q195627.

According to the MSDN entry, this problem was fixed in SP3. I have had SP3 installed for quite some time and have used the Component Gallery with no problem. Now, for some unknown reason, I get the error.

I re-applied SP3, but the problem is still there. Is a complete un-install/re-install the only solution?
