Just wanted to let you know that RThreshold was the bottleneck. After setting that to 1 and cleaning up some other
miscellaneous errors, the OnComm event code runs fine and my data collection routine is now VFp-capable thanks
to you.

The small DO loop to remove the cr's does not interfere with the OnComm event.

In the tidbit dept: I do not see the RThreshold property explicitly set anywhere in the VB version of this project.

Again, I'm very grateful for your help. If you have occasion to use an OnComm event to collect data thru a Worthington Data Systems RF TriCoder, thanks to you, I have working event code to which you are welcome.
