Chuck,
>Where can I find a web site the explanes the XML DOM so I can understand it? I have looked at MS web site but I can not understand what all the PEMs of Microsoft.xmlDom.
The MSDN website is he best documentation on it that I know of. And I agree it's truly impossible to figure it out based on the info there. Check the
W i k i and do a search for XML there are a lot of good resources linked to a couple of the topics.
I wouldn't mind kicking around questions here because I've been fighting with it lately too.
>Seconds Question: Do all XML Parser have the same PEMs if they obey W3?
They should, I've never tried any of the other XMLDOM implementations. The MS version adds lots of useful PEMs though.
>Third Question: I have been to west=wind.com and Rick has a wwXML class that create a XML that can be used with ADO. Do you have the have IE 4.0 or higher to use XML with ADO?
It requires the IE5 version of the msxml.dll to be installed. Note the IE5.01 version needs to be downgraded because of bugs. There's an article on Rick's site about it.
