I read it over and over and I don't see the connection. I'm not trying to change the focus and it's well after the app starts. I'm also not doing anything with the API. I only saw two messages in the thread and neither explained what this is supposed to do. Is there more messages that I'm not seeing?

>I'm willing to bet that your troubles are being caused by a bit of VFP behavior that often cuases trouble: the exe will not give itself focus after starting. Check out Thread #351538 for an explanation and some API code that should help.
