That works -- but seems like alot of overhead. What I would like to do is similar to the flying paper during a W95 copy/move. Animation in that space. I have been successful in using the multimedia manage or the activex movie control for avi ,meg, etc but I would like to add some 'while things are happening in the background' other than the progress bar.
