All is well as long as there are no spaces. VB's Save As dialog allows the use of a space in the name. Is there something I'm overlooking? I admit being very new to VFP 6.

Diane,
How do you get and use filename ? If you use a variable such as lcFileName, do you use parentheses around it (NAmeExpression) ?
