I have an order entry grid with several columns. I want to keep the cursor only in the quantity column which is a spinner. Grids apparently don't have the handy "freeze" property of browse windows. After much trial and error, I can keep the cursor in the quantity column by setting focus to it in the "after row column change" property of the grid.

But, I find the only way to move from one row to another is by clicking. For keyboard users, I would like to move up and down with Tab and Shift-Tab. Also, it would be nice to let up and down arrows move between records, but these key strokes are trapped by the spinner.

I think I can work through it, possibly using LastKey() to see which key was pressed. But, maybe there is someone who has already "been there, done that." Seems like I'm dealing with some fairly common grid problems.

Thanks,
Allen
