I was not able to correct the problem with my form. I have crated a new form and the form inherits the methods correctly from the class it was created and all is well with the new form. I have attributted the problem I had to a damaged or corrupt form and moved on. Thank you for your responses, they all were helpful to somone who is beginning to use Visual Foxpro.

Thank you
Gary
