I am an infrequent visitor to UT. But this thread just grabbed me. I had to read all the posts!

What you have said about FPA articulates what I have felt for a long time. To my mind Miriam Liskin's articles are a joke and a waste of newsprint. I have thought so since that useless book she published on dBase.

Tamar Granor as a 'Guru' has also mystified me. You are right on the mark in questioning her credentials. In the past I have raised several issues with her with regard to code samples being included only on the high cost resource CD instead of being posted free on the Web. She tends to brush off anything coming from anyone other than the controlling clique or cabal that has the VFP community by the throat.

You are right on the mark despite all the flames you have received.
