Hi Oscar:

I get the same error: "File 'PARENT' does not exist. Error: 1 Method: embossedform.dataenvironment.cursor4", when installed elsewhere using setup.exe, created by the setup wizard. Vfpro6 runs my simple app from it's created directory just fine though. The parent is worksheet.dbf and
the status bar shows test!worksheet as being open. Cursor4 refers to
dataenvironment.software and the table so-named is included in the database. The dbc and dbfs and cdxs are all in \data.

A response to another usenet about my problem was:
Unfortunately, VFP hard codes the path to the dbc in the header of each
Table. For best results always keep the dbc and its Tables in the same
Folder.

I suppose you may want to look at the path in: config.fpw? or place the doc in the main folder which holds your app.

Sorry I don't have a solution now; if I can find one, I'll try to let you know.
