I have developed an application that has a DBC which takes up 5.9 GBytes of space, and The application will
poll, and import transactions, creating an archive of another 5 to 7 Gbytes of tables. The applications use the transactions
tables, and bounces the data against the DBC to generate more tables, reports, graphs, and history.
This has grown so large, that I wish to build the transaction tables on another drive, or even on another server, and import the data
for these from still another drive/server. I don't have a problem with the parse program using the GETDIR() function,
however, I am having a problem with the method and/or syntax to create and maintain the transaction tables on another drive/server.
and still programmically access them when running my analysis routines.
Anyone out there that can help me with this little problem?
I always seem to be on the wrong path.
