I rarely use VFP 6 because most of what I do is modify SBT Pro 5, which is in VFP 5. But now I have to port some mods over to Pro 6, which is in VFP 6. When I got there, I noticed that I couldn't access the help file. Anyway, to make a long story short, I discovered that in file locations it said not to use a help file. So I pointed it to the help file.

While I was in the options, I made a bunch of other changes, including turning on the resource file. I exited and came back in (testing something else). I noticed that I couldn't get to the help file again!

Turns out that of all the changes I made to options, the only one that stuck was changing how tab order is shown. Everything else went back to what it was before. I'm _positive_ I clicked "set as default". Since the resource file is one of the things turned off, I tried issuing a SET RESOURCE ON, redid the changes, set as default, went out and came back in. All the changes were gone again.

I've never had this problem in VFP 5. Anyone know what's going on?
