Steven,
I'm just looking into this myself, so I won't be much help yet from a technical point, but a couple of things I've come across which may be helpful:
1. I figured writing to a new .MPP file using OLE Automation will be not to hard, but updating it with updated data from my app would be a PITA.
2. I realized that MS Project projects can be saved in Access or SQL Server 6.5 and above.
3. I've chosen SQL Server because my app data is in SQL Server. Now I can just update the tables for the MS Project projects which will be easier to navigate and update.
4. There is a file called Database.wri located somewhere within the MS Project folder structure when it was installed. Do a search for this file. It's well put together and very informative for using MS Project in this manner.
HTH
>This is a repeat of a previous thread. Has anyone used VFP to manipulate Microsoft Project? Please help or guide me in the right direction.
