According to the VFP Installation Guide, a client machine connecting to SQL server needs to have it's own copy of Visual FoxPro installed in order to have ODBC connectivity. That represents a huge cost to the client if they are running one client/server application on many PCs. Is there another way to get the ODBC connectivity required?
