You're question doesn't make any sense, but I'll take a stab at it. I'm going to assume you've created an app using the wizard. What you're not understanding is how object oriented programming works. The "Find" button is an object. It's a "subclass" of another object. It "inherits" the code from the other object.

I would start with the VFP docs to get an understanding of the basics of OOP. That will help get you started.
