I used to do this for free on my website using ReFox... I'll do it for UT members for free (if only occasionally ...)

I think they went out -- or at least got found out to be not truthful in their advertisement.

They offered to let you send in an encrypted file under X # of bytes; That limit basically said "No Refox Level II encryption" -- which even refox won't decompile. They said "If you don't believe us; send us an encoded small program and we'll send it back decompiled"

SO I did! I used random characters in my passcode for the encryption; I gave it 1 month (they said 1 week turnaround).. I emailed them 5 times asking what was up.. never got a reply back.

I emailed Xitech and asked them about it; they said that Foxafe probably just uses a brute force method of attack using REFOX to decompile Level I and Level I+ files.

All I can say is; if it's a choice of giving them 50 bux... I'd save my money; because they're full of crud. They do a Refox Level II like encryption (brand the code to the DLL's).

Send it to me; I'll encode it for you... If you want to send me 10 or 20 bux; that'd be ok too. <g>

And the "encryption" check box does very little when compiling a FoxPro program.

Note: Checking the encryption OR using ReFox to brand your program will result in less compressability of your .exe and .app... A program that might have fit on 3 floppies; might now take 5 or more.
