ChildOrder is the tag needed by the child table in the relation. If you need to show the children in some specific order, build a compound tag that has the FK plus the order you need for the children.
>I'm having trouble sorting data in a grid using the ChildOrder property. I have two tables in a one-to-many relationship. The grid shows the data from the 2nd table. The RelationalExpr property is set to the key field that links the tables. When ChildOrder is also set to this value the grid displays the correct data, but I'd like to sort by a second indexed field. When I specify this field as the ChildOrder, however, the grid is empty. I've also tried leaving ChildOrder blank and putting the sort field in the Order property of the cursor object in the Data Environment. In this case the data is displayed in the grid, but it isn't sorted. I've also tried changing the active index in code, but this doesn't work either. What am I doing wrong?
