Thanks for the tip ... while I'll check out Rick's stuff (which always seems to be useful), the pdfwritr.ini appears to hold the keys to the kingdom ...

PDFFileName=whatever file name ... in the default ini, it's blank. So I have the option of either writing to the ini, or just hardsetting the file and changing it by parameter as I go.
