Since you are using PHDBase extensively you might help me with this Phdbase bug related to the long names. I have an application in VFP3.0 with free tables and 8.3 names for them. I thought that this bug related to the names with spaces only and started to create longer names without spaces in VFP5.0 It seems to create some instability for =phd("Select ... from ~tablename~ where ... into cursor ~cursorname~" ) where tablename,cursorname exceed 8 characters. Sometimes it works , sometimes gives a weird error or shuts down Foxpro. To your experience shall we avoid of using the names not compliant with DOS at all or my problem is caused by different reasons.
