No, he died about 6 years ago at the age of 43. The lifestyle got to him. His liver failed him. He was a great musician, but had no business sense. There is a Rick Harvey Gibson guitar though, he was one of their reps. There's also a little muriel with his likeness down on Beale street and a few pictures of him and SRV. Sam the Sham preached his funeral, Ruby Wilson and Rufus Thomas sang also. Afterward I had a Sheriff's escort take the funeral procession down Beale Street on the way to Arkansas where he is buried.
