Hi,
I'm new to the question of using the Web to access data. So I have questions regarding the connection between the web app and access to a database and SQL 7.0.

1. I'd like to use the web to access my fox tables (dbf). I believe I will be using a COM to get that done. So the question is will it scale or what are the issues to com related to scaling.

2. I also must access SQL 7.0. I have found a ASP routine that accesses the data. But I don't understand how it makes the connection multiuser (the routine has only one connection). In other words what happens when the second or third request is made - how does it create additional connections. And if it makes additional connections what are the license problems. I really hope you don't tell me the connection is serial for all requests!!!!! If it is serial then it won't scale.

TIA
John
