The best I can liken it to is a car company advertising on a TV show. They really have nothing to do with the content of the TV show itself. The voiceover says, "Three Yuppies In A Loft is brought to you by Chevrolet", but in the show, everyone is driving BMWs and Volvos. *s*

That is pathetic... especially when compared to the active role SQL Magazine is taking with their awards...

I have no idea. I've never been contacted by anyone associated with the show (I think they _meant_ to, and that's why Barry thinks I was invited to judge or present or something), but no one's ever talked to me. (I think this was one of those "'Mary, I thought _you_ made reservations at the Inn', says Joseph" things) In fact, their communication with Pinnacle, as best as I can tell (since I don't work out of the Pinnacle offices), has been pretty minimal.

Then why don't you have Pinnacle/FoxTalk removed from the page if you have nothing to do with the awards/process???

Hard to say. Not my call. I just solicit, edit and turn down articles... *s*.

That never stopped you from commenting before...< s >..
