I am setting up a stand alone copy of my vfp system on a new computer for the first time. The vfp system calls a small visual basic exe when the user selects an olecontrol. On the stand alone system, I get the same error whether I run the vfp system and select the olecontrol, or whether I try to run the visual basic exe on its own outside of vfp.

The error message is:

run time error '713'
Application defined or object defined error.

Is the error routine in the visual basic exe causing this or is it something else, like missing a file necessary to properly run the visual basic exe?
