I suspect your issue with the "ghosting problem" in the view was a refresh issue. If you want to give one more shot at the relational thing, verify that tags you're using for both the parent and the child are built on the STR() of the key. You can also setup the relation from the command window, and browse fields (like the keys) from both tables to see if the relation is working.

>Yes, those are the properties I'm using. When ChildOrder and RelationalExpr are simply set to the FK I see the records I want (just not sorted correctly), so LinkMaster and RecordSource are correct. I've tried every variation I could think of for the values of the other two properties, with no luck. I guess I'll switch back to a view and try to pin down the ghosting problem.
