The interesting thing about this recommedation by the DOJ is it does not address the issues in the case. The OS part of microsoft stays intact which is their monopoly. MS doesn't have a monopoly on Office software, developement tools or the other stuff. Their monopoly is on OS's. It would make more sense to break them up into competing companies like Win98 vs WinNt-Win2k.

But what else do you expect from Janet Reno (IQ of a nat) and the DOJ.
