Well, that's the best news I've heard so far. Cable Modem is NOT available to me either.. Ughh..
So far DirecPC has the best available options, though far from perfect.

>True, uploads are done at modem speed, downloads up to 400K. However, Hughes and Direct PC just announced a new service that will allow for both downloads and uploads via satellite. Supposedly it should be available this summer.
