Russell,

>Does this mean that VFP will also support WEB forms? MS is sending us another ambiguous message

We pressed for answers when the announcement was first made, and they are saying what they can honestly say at this point. All the languages will share *some* of the same Web technologies, especially the Web Services part of it. Web Forms, however, requires integration with the VStudio IDE and with a designer component, which may not be able to work with VFP7.

Therefore they say the product functionality is the same if you choose VB or VC, since *they will* share the same IDE and designers. Robert Green has said related to Web Forms, that they will do what they can, but they can't promise yet what that will be.

So, maybe nothing on Web Forms, or maybe some kind of functionality that is different from VB/VC, or who knows? Some announcements will be made by the VFP team at New Orleans DEVCON on May 14, so the picture *may* get a little clearer by then.
