Occasionally, when I click on the X to close a form, it just depresses but the form doesn't close. I have to click on it again to get it to close. I saw this the first time in VFP 3 when I worked for a consulting firm years ago. It would happen on some computers but not others. It still happens sometimes in VFP 5, years and many computers later.

Go figure.

>>>This problem has bothered me for several years. For some reason I cannot make a double-click work in the vfp 5.0 IDE.
>>>Whenever I try to close a form or anything else I'm working on I have to click once (for the menu) and then click close.
>>>I have went through 3 computers in that time and they all work the same way. Anyone know what's going on?
>>
>>I don't know what you mean by "double click to close". All you have to do click the "X" in the upper right corner of the designer and it will close. If there are any unsaved changes, you'll get a dialog box prompting you to Save your changes.

>If you double click in the upper left corner it should do the same thing. Most every windows program works that way.
