>Reason I wanted to avoid the installation wizard is that real data is on users PC. What I was hoping to do was re-compile the application in VFP 6 so that additional graphic types would be available to the user. I was hoping that all I needed to do was make a copy their current folder structure and put new executable and run time files on the PC. I DO NOT want to mess up existing tables. What is the best way to do this?
There are instructions for all of this in VFP help. You need vfp6r.dll & vfp6renu.dll, which need to be either with the .exe or in the path. You need to put them into the appropriate setup directory before running the setup wizard. As for the data, simply don't include any data in your installation.
