>>I have a customer who is trying to run my VFP application on a peer-to-peer network. The database is loaded on a NT 4 workstation. When trying to run the program from other NT workstations it works fine. When trying to run the program from any of the Windows 95 machines, the user gets multiple "error reading file" errors and is unable to run the program.

>The best solution is to move them to a real server. The application is losing connection to the PC that the data is on. It could be cause be bad cables, connectors, or NIC.

Another possibility is that the NBT (NetBIOS over TCP/IP) with Win95 is causing the problems - using some other protocol for the Win95 boxes such as NetBEUI or IPX/SPX hosting NetBIOS, adding this to the NT stacks as well, could improve the situation.
